Last day in Prague

Heips! Viimeisenä päivänä Prahassa jalkamme alkoivat jo olla melko väsyneitä, joten ostimme suosiolla 24 tunnin lipun julkisiin, hintaa yhdellä lipulla oli n. 4,5 euroa. Sillä lipulla sitten ajelimme ympäriinsä ja suuntasimme sillä mm. Petrinin kukkulalle. Petrinillä on köysirata, jolla pääsee kukkulan huipulle samalla joukkoliikenteen lipulla. Kukkulan huipulla sijaitsee näköalatorni ja sokkelo. Jätimme nämä kuitenkin väliin, sillä nälkä alkoi kurnia kovaa. Siispä suuntasimme Cafe Louvreen Narodnille. Siellä nautiskelimme lounasta, joka oli varsin makoisaa, mutta sitä saimme odotella hetken, sillä paikka oli melko täynnä. Kuvia emme nälissämme jääneet enää napsimaan, mutta kyseessä on vierailun arvoinen paikka, enemmän siitä voi lukea esimerkiksi Natan blogista.

 

//Hello! On our last day in Prague our feet were getting tired so we bought a 24-hour ticket to the public transport, one ticket cost about 4,5 euros. With that ticket we drove around and we went to visit the Petrin hill. There is a funicular railway that can take you to the top of the hill and you can use the same public transport ticket for it. On the top of the hill there is a lookout tower and a mirror maze. We didn't see them though because we were really hungry so we headed to Narodni street to have lunch at Cafe Louvre. The food was really good but it took a while because the place was rather full. We were too hungry to take pictures but it's definitely a place to visit. Lounaan jälkeen suuntasimme takaisin hotellille lepäilemään ja iltapäivällä otimme suunnaksi juutalaisen korttelin. Seutu oli tyylikkään näköistä, mutta emme ehkä saaneet siitä kaikkea irti, sillä monet nähtävyydet olivat pääsylipun takana, joita emme ostaneet. Pääsylipulla olisi päässyt mm. katsomaan vanhaa juutalaista hautausmaata, juutalaismuseota ja monia muita nähtävyyksiä.

//After lunch we headed back to the hotel to rest. After a while we left again, this time to see the jewish block. The area looked stylish but I don't think we got out the most of it because many sights where only available with an entrance ticket that we didn't buy. With the ticket one can visit for example the old jewish cemetery, the jew museum and many more.

Viimeinen päivämme Prahassa päättyi illalliseen V Kolkovnessa, johon olimme tehneet pöytävarauksen. Ravintolasta kerromme enemmän erillisessä postauksessa, johon olemme koonneet reissun aikana koettuja ravintoloita. Ennen hotellille vetäytymistä kävimme vielä drinksuilla "kantis"paikassamme Kmotrassa. Praha täytti odotuksemme ja oli juuri niin hieno kaupunki kuin ajattelimme. Onneksi tuli lähdettyä! //Our last day in Prague ended with a dinner at V Kolkovne to where we had made a reservation. We will tell more about the restaurant in an another post where we have gathered the restaurants we went to during our trip. Before going back to the hotel we went for drinks at our "hangout" place, Kmotra. Prague fulfilled our expectations and was just as beautiful a city as we thought. We're glad we went there!
