Prague once more

Heips! Minä tosiaan puolestani matkustin Prahaan samana viikonloppuna, kun Elina kävi tsekkaamassa Bratislavan. Vietin pidennetyn viikonlopun kaupunkia esitellen rakkaalle miehelleni. Oli ihanaa päästä takaisin Prahaan niinkin nopeasti ja etenkin parhaassa seurassa. Otimme koko viikonlopun todella rennosti, nukuimme pitkään, söimme hyvin ja nautiskelimme Prahasta. Kuljetin miestäni "päänähtävyyksissä", kuten seuraavista kuvista on nähtävissä.

 

//Hello! While Elina was in Bratislava, I travelled to Prague. I spent a long weekend there, showing the city to my dear husband. It was wonderful to return to Prague so soon and especially in the best company. We didn't stress about anything that weekend, we slept long, ate well and enjoyed Prague. I showed my husband the "main" sights as you can see from the photos below.

Maanantaina ennen kotiin paluuta vein mieheni Kmotraan, jonka olimme jo Elinan kanssa hyväksi havainneet. Pizzeria ei pettänyt tälläkään kertaa. Muutenkin kävimme lähinnä ravintoloissa, jotka jo Elinan kanssa aiemmin testasimme. Kävimme myös muutamassa minulle uudessa ravintolassa, mutta parhaat ruoat saimme "vanhoissa tutuissa" paikoissa.

//On monday before returning home I took my husband to Kmotra, which we had already tested with Elina. The pizzeria didn't let us down again. Mostly during the weekend we ate at restaurants which I was already familiar with but we also visited a few new ones. Yet I think the best foods were in the "old and familiar" restaurants.

Viikonloppuna kävimme myös St. Martinin katedraalissa "Best of classics"-konsertissa, jossa esiintyivät urkuri, viulisti ja sopraano-laulaja. Tuskin mitään Prahan parhaimmistoa, mutta tykkäsimme molemmat. Lisäksi vein mieheni katsomaan perinteistä Black light theatrea ja pääsimme, tai no jouduimme, molemmat lavallekin, heh. Esitys oli kyllä todella viihdyttävä ja voin suositella sitä Prahaan matkustaville. Alapuolella Youtubesta löytynyt klippi kyseisestä esityksestä. Kaikin puolin viikonloppu oli todella onnistunut ja Praha oli edelleen yhtä ihana kuin 8 viikkoa sitten. Oli myös ihanaa nähdä omaa miestä pitkästä aikaa. Tänään olemme olleet Martinissa jo 9 viikkoa, eikä vaihtoa ole jäljellä enää kuin 4 viikkoa, sekös hujahtaa äkkiä!

//During the weekend we also went to a "best of classics"-concert to the St. Martin cathedral. There were three performers, an organist, a violinist and a soprano singer. I doubt that it would have been the best of Prague but we both enjoyed the concert. Also I took my husband to watch the traditional Black light theater and both of us ended up on the stage too, haha. The show was very entertaining and I can recommend it to people travelling to Prague. Below is a video clip found from Youtube of the show we saw. All in all, the weekend was a very succesful one and Prague was still as wonderful as 8 weeks ago. It was also wonderful to see my husband after a long time. Today we have been in Martin for 9 weeks and only 4 weeks of exchange remains. The last weeks will fly so fast!
